Bay Get Ready: Nonviolent Direct Action Training

Get Trained Up

Get Prepared in community at this in-person Nonviolent Direct Action Training

Designed for participants who have already completed a Bay Resistance noncooperation training and want an introduction to nonviolent direct action. This event includes in-person direct-action role-plays and skill-building.

Bring your people, get trained up, and show up in mass to send a deterrent message that the Bay is organized and prepared to respond to an election steal.

The Trump Administration and its allies are lashing out, changing the rules, and attempting to undermine the upcoming midterm elections to cling to power. They are blocking people from voting, threatening to send ICE agents to polling stations, and setting the stage to try to declare themselves winners, no matter the results.

This is a fight for our futures. But if we Get Ready, we can win.

We're preparing for sustained nonviolent protests, boycotts, and collective action if there is an attempt to undermine the midterm elections. We need you with us. Train up in community.

The scale of our response will be determined by how many of us Get Ready.
